Executive to discuss unique strategies to fight fraud

(BUSINESS WIRE)--Online Banking Solutions:

What:

At Global Concepts’ upcoming Cash Management Forum, Scott Graf, vice president of systems and development of Online Banking Solutions (OBS), will participate in a panel, “Layered Security: Strategies for Success,” to discuss strategies to mitigate Internet fraud. OBS is a provider of next-generation cash management and business banking revenue-generating solutions for banks.

Joining Graf on the panel is OBS partner, Nick Owen, CEO of WiKID Systems. WiKID, also Atlanta-based, provides a dual-source, software-based two-factor authentication system to OBS for the M-Secure Banking Suite.

Fraud continues to evolve and banks’ business customers are increasingly falling victim to Internet fraud with billions of dollars lost each year. The challenge for most banks is how to keep their customers secure, which often means protecting them from themselves. The problem, however, is not online business banking, but rather the commercially available browser and security levels offered for these solutions.

During the forum, Graf, Owen and other panelists will discuss solutions that fight fraud on the front-end and how these approaches can be combined to provide successful barriers to the ever-evolving challenge of fraudsters. The panelists will specifically address out-of-band authentication, hardened browser technology and certificate-based authentication solutions.
