Covington, KY (Vocus/PRWEB ) June 28, 2010 -- Infinite Campus, Inc. announced today at the Kentucky School Nutrition Association 54th Annual Conference the availability of cafeteria serve, a new point-of-sale (POS) food service option, and integrated online payment functionality.

Campus Cafeteria Serve is included with a Campus Food Service license. It is a low cost POS option created for cafeteria operations not requiring cash or complex menus. It operates on a properly configured desktop or laptop.

Campus Food Service customers can use a combination of POS devices to meet their cafeteria management needs. Districts can use the IBM SurePos terminals, in combination with Campus Cafeteria Serve, to handle busy lunchroom operations or Campus Class Serve to record food items distributed in the classrooms.

Infinite Campus also announces Campus Online Payments to eliminate third-party e-commerce software. It is a low-cost electronic payment processing feature seamlessly integrated with Campus Food Service and the Campus Portal. No need to manage separate systems to receive payments.

Parents, guardians and staff can use Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards, or direct debits from a checking or savings account to pay for food service charges and other school fees.

Campus Cafeteria Serve is available to Campus Food Service customers today and Campus Online Payments will be available in the E.1027 release expected in early July 2010. Additional information can be obtained from your

Campus Client Executive.
