Radiant Systems Unveils Upcoming Mobile Platform for Retailers at User Conference

Solution Will Make It Easy for Retailers to Connect with Customers and Sell Anywhere
ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Radiant Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: RADS) unveiled CPMobile, a new mobile software platform for retailers, at its annual Radiant User Conference held last month in Atlanta. Fully-integrated with Radiant Retail’s point-of-sale (POS), inventory management and e-mail marketing technology, CPMobile’s initial component is a mobile POS checkout and customer service application that will run on the Apple iPod Touch and iPhone platforms. It will be widely available this summer.

“CPMobile’s POS functionality will allow our associates to get out from behind the counter and serve as sales consultants rather than cashiers,” added Ron Carey, IT manager at UCF Computer Store in Orlando, Fla. “They will be able to interact with the customer and provide support as they make buying decisions, increasing the likelihood that purchases will be made that day.”
CPMobile will integrate with a retailer’s existing CounterPoint system to facilitate intuitive, user-friendly and secure mobile checkout capabilities for businesses of all sizes. The application can send receipts through e-mail, helping retailers build loyalty by collecting customer data for future e-mail marketing campaigns. Current Radiant customers attending the Radiant User Conference were enthusiastic to see how this new platform complements the company’s existing e-mail marketing and mobile alert tools, making it easy for retailers to run their business, connect with customers and sell anywhere.
