TIO Networks Launches TIO Connect to Simplify Onboarding for Bill Issuers and to open New Markets

~New platform provides billers easy access to TIO’s network of 60,000 payment locations and virtual payment channels including web and mobile~
VANCOUVER, British Columbia--()--TIO Networks Corp., (TSX-V: TNC) ("TIO"), North America's leading expedited bill payment company, has launched TIO Connect, a new Application Programming Interface (API) designed to make it easy and cost effective for bill issuers of any size to integrate into TIO’s network. With TIO Connect, utility, telecommunications, cable, finance and other billers can quickly launch services to enable consumers to pay bills at more than 60,000 self-serve kiosks and over-the-counter locations, or anytime via its mobile payment app.
“With this new solution TIO can now provide integration options for billers of any size, which will dramatically expand the number and types of biller partners we can service.”
“TIO Connect increases the scalability and efficiency of TIO’s bill payment services for new and existing biller partners,” said Hamed Shahbazi, Chairman and CEO of TIO Networks. “With this new solution TIO can now provide integration options for billers of any size, which will dramatically expand the number and types of biller partners we can service.”
TIO Connect enables billers to cost-effectively integrate with TIO’s payment infrastructure using their own development resources at their own pace. Alternatively, TIO Connect offers the option of contracting with TIO or one of its Independent Software Vendor (ISV) partners, ensuring instant access to development resources and rapid deployment.
Once integrated, billers can accept debit, credit or cash-based bill payments through any of TIO’s self-service bill pay kiosks or over-the-counter bill pay locations. Payments can be processed and remitted that day. TIO Connect also provides billers with instant visibility through TIO MobilePay - its iOS and Android mobile payment app.
“TIO can now better serve the needs of smaller bill issuers and open up new markets such as insurance, auto payments, rental housing and beyond,” said Rob Goehring, TIO’s Chief Marketing Officer. “For partners wishing to maintain their brand, TIO Connect also offers the option to deploy branded kiosk, clerk-assisted, web and mobile payment solutions. With these integration innovations being delivered efficiently and at lower cost, TIO can grow its market share.”
Over the coming months TIO will be expanding the ISV program to include additional partners. For more information visit: http://www.tioconnect.com
